We were told to stop whining about the reffing, but like you I can't.
The refs have almost killed this team and there's still time for them to do so. |

If they can figure out how to make a breakout pass then they may be able to take this series. I am so sick of watching the two line stretch passes they keep trying. And Boston knows, all you have to do is skate at them and the D will fire the puck up the boards and then Boston will have possession for another zone entry - if it even clears the blue line. |

Like when we win the draw in our end and then pass it to their D....that's my favorite. |

Hopefully Babs is on his game and gets the Bruins on some bad match ups, and the buds consequently draw some penalties. |

Would like to see a North American Officiating Association started. One where officials for all the major sports are groomed and trained all the way from the minors to the majors.
Each league would then contract the officials they need for the season and playoffs. Those officials would in no way report or answer to the leagues, only the governing body of the NAOA. Part of the NAOA responsibilities is to evaluate and grade/rank the officials performances, promoting only the top officials that deliver consistent and fair results.
Never going to happen, but would be nice. |

Or they could just have an off ice official be able to call down on bad calls and overturn them..ie. Bozak's slashing penalty. / Puck over the boards when it's not etc etc etc. |

oh those are fantastic. People can get mad at the refs all they want, they've made some bad calls in every series I've seen so far, but the team has to actually show up if you're going to blame losses on them. Leafs have put some good minutes in but I wouldn't say that they've played a complete game yet. Andersen kept them in for the two W's. If he's nothing short of spectacular then it's over in 4, hopefully he's on tonight. |

the problem here to me is this:
if you call a slashing penalty on bozak like we saw
what is the ref really calling? he saw bozak slash the stick and it break = 2 pim
but he didn't slash the stick
so what did he actually call?
he saw nothing, why would you call anything if you saw nothing?
its bad. |

Just an idea to get away from officials that answer to the league which may or may not have motivation to appease tv networks etc. |

He seen Bozie reaching and the stick break...that's one that could be overturned...same as the Bruin PIM for over the glass. I think there's lots of calls that ref's make that are wrong but the game is so fast....sometimes its tough and it's more reactionary. |

Kadri, Matthews, Kapenan, Gardiner, Marleau with the goals.

All Rick Nash has to do is stop sawing his sticks halfway through the shaft before hitting the ice. |

best preparation for tonight's game: get a better anthem singer.

Indeed.
Jack Eichel being given food poisoning intentionally is ridiculous though, just so we're clear. |

Our Singer is one of the best in the league.
I also use to like the skinny military guy. Wasn't the best singer, but lots of passion! And he would do the salute at the end... |
